Inside and outside bets

Inside bets cover specific numbers or compact groups: straights, splits, streets, corners, and six-lines. Payouts are higher because coverage is narrower.

Outside bets blanket larger sections such as red/black, odd/even, low/high, dozens, and columns. They pay less per chip but hit more often than a single straight.
